Vintage Girly Tea Party Birthday Feature

Today’s pretty and whimscal party feature is brought to you by Catherine of Constant In Chaos. She had a sweet, elegant, girly, vintage tea party in mind for her sweet girl’s first birthday, but on a budget. She says of the party planning, “who says you can’t have a beautiful party on a tight budget!”  She was quite right and did a fabulous job executing her party details on a tight allowance.

Make sure to check out more of Catherine’s work here and you can read about her party details below,

This is the food table centerpiece.  I used vases I already had throughout the whole party.  For this arrangement, I got sticks from outside and spray painted them white.  The M and B were cardboard letters from Hobby Lobby that I mod-podged scrap-book paper onto.

I made the tissue poms my self using various colors of tissue paper from various stores.  They were super easy to make and I’m so glad I didn’t spend the extra money to order them!

One the food table and cake table (below) I used white twin flat sheets that cost about $2 each.  I didn’t have pretty white table cloths and really didn’t want to spend a lot of money on nice ones.  I bought silk flowers from Hobby Lobby and Michael’s and strung them on fishing line to hang.
