Vintage Camping Baby Shower Feature

Such a fun shower by Beverly of Beverly Demafiles Photography. She threw this vintage camping party for a good friend whose sweet baby came at 31 weeks.  Beverly said of that special and difficult time,

Knowing what a whirlwind of emotions having a preemie can bring, I convinced Christen to go ahead and have the shower. All moms need a break in the early days, especially when baby is still in NICU. Being surrounded with friends and going gaga over tiny newborn clothes brings a sense of normalcy during a pretty stressful time. Our theme was vintage camping. Christen and Merrick went on a pretty epic road trip this summer, a “last hurrah” before the baby came. We had camping themed cupcakes and food, pretty china, vintage style postcards made from Merrick’s road trip photos, a craft station with paper mache letters and vintage maps from the states they visited,  and a little camp scene complete with a gift tent and stuffed campfire! Thanks to Jenny and Kristen for co-hosting, and congrats to the new parents. Baby Micah is doing well and is getting bigger and stronger every day!
