Celebrating this Tuesday with another fabulous tutorial by Jennifer of Double The Fun Parties (you many remember her ‘How To Make Cupcake Topper tutorial)! Today Jennifer is showing how she created Love The Day water bottle labels for her daughter’s Nancy Drew Party.
If you don’t know about Double The Fun Parties, you should. Jennifer is fantastic and crazy talented. Make sure to check her out! And if you are interested in throwing a Nancy Drew party, check out my printable collection here.
1 – Print and trim out your bottle wraps. (You can use cardstock or waterproof labels.) I like to use apaper trimmer for this. You’ll also need your bottles (obviously), and Scotch tape.
2 – This technique works for soda bottles or water bottles. But you’ll want to choose a bottle with a flat (not a rounded) surface. Peel the label off the bottle.
3 – You can’t see it in this photo, but right where you see the big air bubble is a code printed on the bottle. Make this the back of your bottle. Tape the first side of the wrapper to the bottle. (If you are using waterproof labels, these will be self-stick and you won’t need the tape.)
4 – Overlap the second end of the label and tape it to the bottle and the first label.
And here are your finished bottles.
And for some extra umph…attach a colorful party straw with some washi tape!
