Ladybug Party Week:: The Treats

And now to the most important aspect of any party, the treats! I always outsource the goodies to save time and as I am a pretty mediocre baker. And lucky for me I found the most DARLING bakery shop in Austin! The Sugar Shack, owned by a mother & daughter provided the chocolate and red velvet cupcakes and created the chocolate ladybug truffles to match my Ladybug Printable Collection. Not only were the cupcakes darling, they were so absolutely scrumptious! The chocolate frosting was ridiculous! And the truffles were a huge hit. The girls loved the little bites of ladybug goodness. If you live in Austin, you NEED to stop by The Sugar Shack and meet this fun family and taste some of their goodies. I’m dying to get my hands on their cinnamon buns.

The adorable ladybug cookies were sent by The Cookie Jar. Iced cookies are all the rage, and although there are handfuls of talented cookie designers out there, The Cookie Jar continues to be one of my favorite shops. Their cookies are fantastic, perfectly iced and have a fabulous vanilla flavor. And seriously how fabulous are the flowers and ladybugs? They can be purchased here.

The last treats that were served, were brownie bites in party cups provided by Sofies Big Day. I used these darling polka dot cups, filled them with brownie batter and topped them with a red gum-ball. I am obsessed with coordinating party straws, cups, wrappers, etc and Sofies Big Day has loads of fantastic party supplies.
