I know we JUST celebrated Christmas and New Years, but I can’t help to think ahead to Valentine’s Day. What a wonderful holiday! I love everything about the red, pinks, hearts and glitter and the excuse to express love to the important people in your life. And this is the first year I have a child in school, which means I (she) gets to decorate a valentine box and make valentines for all her little classmates. I couldn’t be more excited! To get in the Love Day spirit, I’ve decided to go beyond the traditional sugar cookies and try to make raspberry meringue hearts.

You are so in my brain right now! I was just looking for recipes for the hearts and the little kisses! Yum! I was even thinking maybe marshmallow kisses with sparkling sugar ala homemade peeps. Yum!
I love any party or holiday that has my two favorite colors, pink and red! Add a little chocolate and everything is perfect!
