A DIY Vintage Book Baby Shower Feature

I am absolutely in love with this Vintage Book Baby Shower hosted by Jolie Jolie Design. There are so many fabulous homemade touches, it is evident that this mom to be is very loved. Jolie Jolie described the party planning as such,

This was definitely a DIY affair. I sewed pieces of round fabric to a thick rope of natural hemp to make the bunting. We took some paper lanterns and turned them into simple hot air balloons. I started growing succulents in baby food jars and made a berry crisp in 4 oz mason jars as party favors. Appetizers consists of beautiful strawberries from a local farmers market, a platter of amazing meats and cheeses,  and spam musubis. Dessert consists of homemade macarons and I made a cute little 4 in vanilla cake with homemade lemon curd and whipped cream frosting. We also had an ice cream bar to end the special event!
